He was only 16 years old when he was chased and had to leave Mexico. He arrived in the United States with only 100 dollars in his pocket, and today Omar Hernández has built a millionaire business employing more than 20 people in the state of Georgia.

Omar Hernández, a man of determination and perseverance, shared his inspiring story of overcoming hard times on the «Millionaire Dream» program.

In his own words, Omar described the moment he had to make the tough choice to leave his home country:

«Two weeks after I left, they took my whole family. The one they were after, in the end, was just me. I cried for about an hour because it all hit me. My whole life flashed before my eyes. I said, what am I doing here?»

In the end, Omar shares that it wasn’t him they were after, but someone else.

He found out about this when everything was already done, as there wasn’t much communication, or rather, ease of contact, at that time. Luckily, there were no losses to mourn.

He never gave up on his American dream

Despite the difficulties and fear he experienced in his new life in the United States, Omar never gave up on his dreams.

He said, «You should never say no to anything that might serve you in the future. Nothing is in the way here, nothing, nothing is in the way.»

Despite the challenges, Omar decided to move forward in the United States. His determination and focus on building a better future for himself and his family drove him to overcome the initial difficulties.

Omar began working in various jobs in Houston, including house painting and piano cleaning. While these jobs were not his passion, they allowed him to earn money and stay focused on his long-term goals.

In 2006, Omar founded Omar Brothers, a company specializing in tree cutting and processing.

Over time, the company grew and became a reference in its field, serving residential and commercial clients in Georgia.

Finally, Omar shared a message of hope and encouragement for those who are starting their journey in a new country:

«For all those who at some point felt like me, not so much pressured to come, but with a plan that I have to go, which in the end means leaving one’s countries, let’s be strong and constant in our work and stop thinking for a moment of being victims.»

«We are here and feeling like victims doesn’t help us at all. We have to forget everything and think about what we came to do to do it well.»

Omar Hernández shows us an example of inspiration to dream big and overcome the obstacles that life may place before us. Sueño Millonario says goodbye for now. See you next time!
