Barack and Michelle Obama were seen together in a selfie celebrating Valentine’s Day, marking the first time in weeks that the couple has appeared publicly together.

The former president wrote on X (formerly Twitter): «Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away. Happy Valentine’s Day, Michelle Obama!»

The heartfelt post comes amid ongoing rumors about a possible split, as the couple has been married for 32 years.

Although it is unclear when the photo was taken, Michelle also shared the same selfie on her X account.

Last month, Barack also dedicated a birthday message to Michelle, posting a photo of them enjoying a private dinner.

«Happy birthday to the love of my life, @MichelleObama,» he wrote, alongside an image of the two holding hands at dinner.

«I feel so lucky to share life’s adventures with you. I love you.»

Michelle reshared the post, adding a simple yet affectionate reply: «I love you, sweetheart.»

Barack Obama attended Jimmy Carter’s state funeral and Donald Trump’s second inauguration alone, as Michelle chose not to attend, fueling rumors about problems in their marriage.

However, some dismissed the speculation, suggesting that Michelle’s absence was simply a political statement.

Last October, Jennifer Aniston publicly denied rumors suggesting that she and Barack Obama were in a relationship, which reportedly made Michelle feel “betrayed”.

Speculation intensified after pop culture podcasters claimed that the Obamas were “living separate lives” while Barack and Jennifer allegedly had a secret relationship.

Michelle Obama has previously discussed the «resentment» she felt for pausing her career to be a mother, while Barack’s career continued to thrive.

The pressure of «needing to do everything right» and Barack’s commitment to work over family contributed to tensions in their relationship.
