The delay in the registry is because they got married in a municipality, Amacuzac.

These localities send their records and marriage certificates to the state once a month.

Ángela Aguilar and Christian Nodal did get married civilly, but they still don’t have their marriage certificate.

The director of the Civil Registry of Morelos mentioned that a public servant cannot sign a confidentiality agreement.
