During an event in Washington, Haley harshly criticized the Biden administration, describing it as «a catastrophe.»

Nikki Haley endorses Trump
On Wednesday, former U.S. Republican presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley announced she will vote for Trump in November.
He was her main rival in the primaries.
Haley spoke at a think tank event in Washington
She emphasized that, although Trump is not «perfect,» the policies of the current president, Democrat Joe Biden, have been «a catastrophe.»
Why did Haley decide to back Trump?
«I put my priorities on a president who’s going to have the backs of our allies and hold our enemies to account.»
She added that she wants, «A president who would support capitalism and freedom, a president who understands we need less debt not more debt.»
«Trump has not been perfect on these policies. I’ve made that clear, many, many times. But Biden has been a catastrophe,» she went on.
Haley, 52, withdrew from the Republican primary race on March 5.

When Nikki Haley said she would be voting for Trump in a speech in Charleston, South Carolina, she emphasized that it is now up to him.
She said the he must «earn the votes of those inside and outside our party who did not support him.»
«I stand by what I said in my suspension speech. Trump would be smart to reach out to the millions of people who voted for me,» she went on.
«And I genuinely hope he does that,» she reiterated on Wednesday.
