Nikki Haley has only won two Republican primaries to date — the District of Columbia and Vermont.

She failed to improve her delegate count significantly on Super Tuesday.

At the end of the day Haley won only 43 delegates, while Trump took 764.

Before the South Carolina primary in February, the former governor had pledged to remain in the race until March 5.

According to CNN, Haley spoke about her belief in a better America and a brighter future for the country’s children.

The former governor joins the other major candidates who have already dropped out of the race, where Trump has been the favorite from the beginning.

It should be remembered that she was also the United States ambassador to the United Nations during Donald Trump’s presidency.

Now that Haley has dropped out, Donald Trump and Joe Biden are the only contenders in the race.

Donald Trump needs 1,215 delegates to secure the Republican presidential nomination.

The American political landscape has changed with Haley’s withdrawal, leaving the former president as the leading contender for the party’s nomination.

The former governor finally gave in to the results and the strength of the former president.

However, Haley’s decision not only reflects the polarization within the Republican Party, but also Trump’s dominance over their base.

Despite her efforts and her record as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Haley was unable to gain enough momentum.

Nikki Haley’s resignation also raises questions about the future of the Republican party, according to EFE.

Now that Trump is the only viable candidate, the focus is on how the party will evolve after the election.

Likewise, it focuses on what leadership could emerge to counteract the former president’s continued influence.

On the other hand, Haley dropping out further paves the way for a rematch between Trump and Biden in the general election.

With both political leaders as the main contenders, this year’s election looks to be a replay of 2020.

Nikki Haley’s withdrawal highlights the volatile and competitive nature of politics.

Alliances change rapidly and strategies must adapt to the changing realities of the political landscape, according to CNN.
