New York police have arrested a man for the deaths of a grandmother, a mother, and her two children in the family’s Brooklyn apartment.
Officers responded to a report of an attack late Friday night.
They found the oldest victim dead with multiple stab wounds.
Authorities identified her as Fayzieva Mavlyuda, 56, and said she was the grandmother of the two youngest victims.
The New York Police Found a Horrible Crime
On the other hand, New York police did not specify the injuries of the other three victims found dead in the home:
Maftuna Khakimova, 27, and her two children; Kamila Shavkatova, 5, and Timur Shavkatov, 4.

According to authorities, the four victims lived in the same residence where their bodies were found, in the Bensonhurst neighborhood.
Authorities did not detail who reported the attack or their relationship with the family, reported The Associated Press.
The name of the detained 24-year-old man has not been released.
New York police added that he is being investigated and processed.
According to information from El Diario, the murderer put the children inside a laundry bag and hid it in the closet.
It was revealed that he is 24 years old, the son of Fayzieva Mavlyuda, and the uncle of the children. He appears to have mental health issues.
The children’s father arrived shortly after and discovered the horrific scene.
As reported by the New York Post, he called 911 and entered the apartment with investigators.
The suspect returned and asked New York police to arrest him. He confessed that he had committed the crime.
A neighbor described him as ‘a big, aggressive guy with a look in his eyes like a crazed bulldog.’
