She was trapped under water
According to information from Milenio, the accident in which Naomi Pomeroy lost her life occurred during the night of Saturday, July 13.
The chef was on the Willamette River in Oregon with her husband, Kyle Linden Webster, and her friend Millie Lovea.
While the three were tubing (standing on top of an inner tube) they crashed into a tree.
Unfortunately, the chef was trapped underwater.
Despite his efforts, Kyle was unable to find his wife Naomi Pomeroy, Milenio reported.
It was the elements of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office who found her body around 8:25 a.m.
Authorities reported that they did not find her earlier because there was a strong underground current.
