But how did this Michigan woman go from picking up a pizza to winning $2 million?

According to La Opinión, the woman from Macomb County was waiting to pick up a pizza.

At that moment, she decided to check a $2,000 Large scratch-off ticket she had purchased earlier, never imagining her life was about to change.

Like many lottery winners, she chose to keep her identity a secret.

«My husband is usually the one who buys scratch-off tickets, but I decided to stop and buy one on my way to pick up pizza,» she said.

She added that she scratched her ticket, which she bought at a local liquor store, while sitting in her car.

According to La Opinión, she’s not a frequent player. When she realized what had just happened, she immediately called her husband.

The lucky lottery winner said that she will use the money to pay some bills and take a vacation. She opted for a lump sum payment of $1.3 million.
