They also discussed the importance of challenging the «supermom» mindset that often pressures women to do everything.

It’s essential to resist the idea that they must be able to do everything without help. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but a display of self-care and wisdom.

Dr. Robles shared warning signs that indicate when professional help is needed.

These include feeling overwhelmed, not taking care of basic needs, constant crying, and most worryingly, having suicidal or violent thoughts. In such cases, it’s crucial to seek help immediately.

They highlighted the importance of learning to let children experience natural consequences and how sometimes it’s necessary to relax and let them learn on their own.

Finally, the hosts remind that sometimes moms feel that their faults define them as mothers, when in reality they forget all the good they do for their children.

It’s important to remember that occasionally situations happen or something slips by moms, but that shouldn’t overshadow all the good they do and it’s important to recognize this.
