Former U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has cast doubt on the official account of the assassination attempt against her husband, Donald Trump.
In a video posted on X, Melania demanded to «uncover the truth» about the events that took place at a rally in Pennsylvania in July.
«I can’t help but wonder why law enforcement didn’t stop the shooter before the speech,» Melania said with a serious expression.
The former First Lady referred to the fact that the Secret Service did not apprehend the attacker, Thomas Crooks, despite prior warnings.

Kimberly Cheatle, then director of the Secret Service, resigned on July 23 following criticism over her handling of the incident.
Trump was injured in one ear, a man was killed, and several others were wounded before the shooter was fatally shot by police.

The video was released just before tonight’s debate between Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, set to air on ABC.
