An East Tennessee woman accused of killing her daughter faced new charges in court on Thursday.
Megan Boswell now faces 20 charges, including first-degree murder.
She was arrested four years ago for the disappearance and death of her toddler, Evelyn Boswell.
Boswell’s attorney has requested that the upcoming trial be moved to another location.
Boswell Appears in Court with New Charges and Evidence
Boswell appeared in Sullivan County court wearing a black and white striped suit.
Shackled at the ankles, she listened to the new charges against her.

She is accused of premeditated and intentional first-degree murder for the death of her 15-month-old daughter.
The state says there is new evidence in the case.
There is resistance against Megan Boswell’s request to move the trial to another part of the state.
The media attention the case has received is one of the reasons for the request.
«What we have asked for is to move it out of Sullivan County,» said Scott, her attorney.

Investigators Discover Evelyn Boswell Died of Asphyxiation
Initially, Megan Boswell told investigators that her daughter died in a sleeping accident.
A forensic pathologist determined that the girl died of asphyxiation.
Tennessee Lookout reports that Evelyn Boswell was «tightly wrapped» in aluminum foil and a blanket.
She was placed inside a trash can while still alive.
The pathologist, Dr. Darinka Mileusnic-Polchan, said that Evelyn Boswell was «compressed in the can.»
Her head was «completely tilted» backward.
Mileusnic-Polchan described the girl in a «distorted fetal position.»
Her face was «virtually crushed,» according to the pathologist.
