Actress María Isabel Becerra Hernández, better known as Mayka Montalvo, passed away at the age of 75.
Her death was confirmed on the official Instagram account of the National Association of Actors.
Mayka was beloved in Mexican cinema.

According to information from Uno TV, Mayka was part of the so-called ‘ficheras’ cinema.
Some of the films she participated in include Esos viejos rabos verdes, Casa de señoritas 2, and Chile piquín.
Furthermore, Mayka Montalvo was a renowned showgirl who performed in ‘midnight theater’ productions.
Among these plays, which were presented at the Teatro Fru Fru, are Emanuele al rojo vivo and Lucrecia Borgia.
So far, her family has not revealed the causes of her death or provided more details about her funeral.
For several years, she had been away from the spotlight, living as a retired woman.
In one of her last posts on her Facebook page, shared on October 24, Mayka Montalvo hinted that she was suffering from terminal cancer.
Just this past Sunday, November 10, one of her sons uploaded a video showing the actress receiving care from a nurse.
«Please disregard the posts. My mother is in a very complicated health state,» he wrote.
