The musician, son of the iconic figure of santiagueña music Onofre Paz, lost the battle against an illness that kept him hospitalized in the Sanatorio Finochietto in Buenos Aires

Norberto Bacón, representative of Martín Paz, confirmed the tragic news and provided details about the struggle that the musician faced in his last days.
“He started with an illness in the summer with a lot of cough and kidney cancer was discovered with metastasis to the lung that spread to the spine,” Bacón explained.
This implacable disease took his life despite the brave fight that Martín Paz undertook against it.
Likewise, his representative, Bacón, stated with regret: «There was no solution, unfortunately,» when confirming the sad news of his death.
