JAKKS Pacific has announced a recall affecting around 17,500 battery-powered 24V Mario Kart racing vehicles.

These vehicles can be identified by their red, white and blue color with the letter ‘M’ in the center of a white circle on the front.

The toys have been recalled because they have a safety problem related to the accelerator pedal.

The problem is that if the accelerator pedal becomes clogged with debris, there is a chance that it could become stuck posing an accident risk.
