Mexican singer Majo Aguilar is going through a very painful time and is in mourning.
On Tuesday, she publicly announced the death of her nephew Arturo Pérez, a little boy just 7 years old who had been battling leukemia.
Through an emotional message on Instagram, the singer expressed her sadness and lovingly said goodbye to the child.
“My star forever. I will be hugging you for eternity. That’s how I feel with you right now. The bravest, the strongest warrior. I love you, beautiful, handsome, my sweet little baby who used to sing ‘I want a love.’”

“It gives me peace to know you are now at rest. I love you so, so much. I will always hold onto your love and your great spirit. Your teachings. I won’t try to understand why things like this happen; I will simply honor you,” added the singer in her post.
“Arturo had another plan—to fly very high. Know that he was a wonderful boy, a fierce fighter against his illness, facing it with bravery, grace, and smiles. Please remember him that way, because he is and will always be the best,” was part of the message shared by the artist.

The boy was the son of some of Majo Aguilar’s close cousins, who were also recognized for their strength during this difficult time.
It is worth remembering that at the end of March, the singer urgently requested platelet donors for her nephew, who was hospitalized in Mexico City.
On March 31, Aguilar called on her followers to help find donors to support Arturo’s treatment.
She also dedicated a space to thank those who responded to that call for solidarity.
“I love you, my beautiful nephew. Thank you to those who helped spread the word when we needed platelets,” expressed Majo Aguilar.
She immediately received messages of support.
