WE CAN LIVE FOREVER. Following the news of the death of former One Direction member Liam Payne, new details have emerged about the days leading up to his passing.

Through Snapchat, the singer shared a series of images showing how his stay at the Palermo hotel in Argentina was going.

The solo artist traveled to Buenos Aires on October 2 to attend the concerts of his friend and former bandmate, Niall Horan, in the Argentine capital.

So far, his cause of death has been reported as «a fall from the third floor of the hotel.»

In the photos, Liam Payne is seen wearing a gray shirt. The singer was enjoying his stay with his partner, Kate Cassidy, and shared highlights from his vacation.

He didn’t hesitate to ask his fans for help in choosing a Halloween costume, mentioning that it was his favorite holiday, and that he might dress as Forrest Gump.

«Good morning everyone. It’s a beautiful day here in Argentina. This is what’s on the breakfast table,» said the «Familiar» singer.

In the background, his partner’s voice can be heard responding to him. Shortly after, he posted photos of himself before entering the pool and even shared a picture of a cake he ate.

What Happened to Liam Payne?

Payne, 31, was found dead after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, according to local officials.

The Buenos Aires police said in a statement that Payne fell from the third floor of the Hotel Casa Sur in the trendy Palermo neighborhood of the Argentine capital.

This caused him «extremely severe injuries.» Paramedics confirmed his death at the scene, according to the statement.

Pablo Policicchio, a spokesperson for the Buenos Aires municipal Ministry of Security, said in a statement to The Associated Press that Payne «had jumped from the balcony of his room.»

Was it Suicide or an Accident?

Policicchio added that police were dispatched to the hotel in response to an emergency call about «an aggressive man who might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.»

When the police arrived, they heard a loud thud and found Liam Payne’s body in the hotel’s courtyard, Policicchio said.

Alberto Crescenti, director of the state’s emergency medical system, told Argentine television channel Todo Noticias that authorities were investigating the circumstances of his death and conducting an autopsy.

He declined to answer further questions about the incident, including whether Payne jumped from the balcony or fell accidentally, AP reported.
