First it was sent to Luis “Chaka” Rodríguez’s wife, and now it’s been sent to Guillermo Ochoa’s wife. On social media, an «amateur» threatened the wife of the América goalkeeper, saying he would kill and rape her, if the Mexican player does not stop playing for the Mexican National Team.

«Tell that asshole not to play with the National Team anymore, otherwise I’ll have to kill you and rape you and your family,» the aggressor wrote in a message sent to Karla Mora through her Instagram account, the news agency El Universal reported.

It wasn’t just death threats against Karla Mora

Mora, the World Cup player’s partner, responded to the threats with a conciliatory message: “Hate doesn’t lead to anything good. It’s a sport, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. (…) Calm down, there’s still a way to go and I’m sure that they will make Mexico very happy. Best to work and take care of yourselves for the good of your families and loved ones,” said the famous footballer’s partner.

Memo Ochoa’s family received terrible death threats after the defeat of the Mexican National Team against Canada. “El Chaka” Rodríguez also responded diplomatically to the threats against his family. Authorities are known to have already launched investigations.
