In a decisive ruling, federal judge Tanya Chutkan on Saturday, August 3, rejected a new request from former President Donald Trump.
This request aimed to dismiss the case against him regarding the 2021 Capitol assault.
The Republican candidate argued he was a victim of political persecution by the Biden Administration.
Trump’s defense had presented news articles detailing Biden’s frustration with the slow pace of judicial cases against the former president.
Donald Trump faces a setback
