The brutal murder shocked Aurora, Colorado in 2022.

Nearly two years after the tragedy, the relatives of María Anita Serrano, Jesús Serrano, Ken Luque and Rodolfo Pérez are beginning to get some justice.

Castorena had a restraining order against him when he decided to enter his ex-girlfriend’s house without authorization. He hid in the house, waiting to ambush her.

Castorena’s ex noticed his keys in her bedroom and called 911.

Her brother, another relative, and the man who rented a trailer in the family’s backyard were also killed.

«In the blink of an eye, Mr. Castorena destroyed many lives,» said Assistant District Attorney Lauren Raible about the shooting.
