José Omar García managed to escape the federal raid and fled to Mexico. Other family members were jailed.

In his testimony to the DEA, Jesús Manuel García admitted to having helped his nephews, Roel Roberto García and José Omar García, move marijuana.

According to uncle Jesús Manuel, at his nephews’ orders, he carried 450 kilos of marijuana to hide them in a warehouse in Roma, Texas.
