Recently, the last words of one of the most influential artists of the last century have been revealed.

AI helped The Beatles release the new song ‘Now and Then’

On November 2 The Beatles released what will be their final song, thanks to some help from artificial intelligence.

‘Now and Then,’ was written by John Lennon and recorded two years before his death as a piano and voice solo.

According to Wired, the singer’s widow, Yoko Ono, handed over the demo of this song to the other members of the group.

In the mid-1990s, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, who passed away in 2001, tried to finish recording it.

Last July, McCartney said that they were able to take John Lennon’s voice and make it ‘purer’ thanks to AI.

In 2022, Paul and Ringo Starr finally managed to finish the song, which George Harrison recorded some guitar parts for in 1995.

Immediately after its release on different platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music, it became a hit.

A day later, the official video was released, which contains images that filled fans with nostalgia.

On December 6, the documentary John Lennon: Murder Without a Trial premiered on Apple TV+.

Among other things, this limited series reveals John Lennon’s last words before he died on the night of December 8, 1980.

The documentary is divided into three episodes with exclusive interviews, as well as unpublished photos of his murder.

Some of the people who were interviewed include Jay Hastings, the Dakota building doorman, and taxi driver Richard Peterson, a witness to the shooting.

Jay Hastings, the doorman of the Dakota apartment building in New York, was the person who heard John Lennon’s last words before he died.

«He runs past me. He goes, ‘I’m shot.’ He had blood coming out of his mouth. He just collapsed on the floor.”

Hastings also stated in this interview for the documentary that he rolled the singer over onto his back and removed his glasses.

«Yoko was screaming, ‘Get an ambulance, get an ambulance,'» Hastings concluded.

The taxi driver thought they were making a movie

Meanwhile, taxi driver Richard Peterson said in John Lennon: Murder Without a Trial that he was parked in his car when the tragedy occurred.

According to Milenio, Peterson momentarily thought they were shooting a movie.

«I’m looking at him through the front window of my cab. I’m looking at him shoot him. This guy just shot John Lennon,» he revealed.

He said that it wasn’t until he realized there were no lights or cameras that he realized he had witnessed a murder.
