President Joe Biden criticized a federal judge in Texas that has temporarily blocked his regularization program, which includes nearly half a million undocumented individuals.
He also assured that he will continue fighting for these families.
«I’m not interested in playing games with the border or immigration. I’m interested in solving problems. I’m also not interested in separating families.»
«That’s not who we are as Americans. I will continue to fight to secure our border and fix our broken immigration system,» he said in a statement released by the White House.

What did the judge say?
Judge J. Campbell Barker of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued a two-week administrative suspension on the plan for the regularization of undocumented individuals.
Meanwhile, the court will consider the complaint, which was led by the controversial Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
According to Biden, the judicial ruling is «wrong»:
«These families should not be unnecessarily separated. They should be able to stay together, and my Administration will not stop fighting for them,» Joe Biden concluded.
