On Saturday, September 27, the Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah confirmed the death of its secretary-general, Hassan Nasrallah.
«He has joined the ranks of the great and immortal martyrs, whose journey he led for nearly thirty years, guiding them from victory to victory,» they said in a statement.
Both U.S. President Joe Biden and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris celebrated the death of this terrorist.
According to Biden, the airstrike that killed Nasrallah «occurred in the broader context of the conflict that began with the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023.»

The president also commented that, the day after the Hamas massacre, Nasrallah made the fatal decision to open what he called a «northern front» against Israel.

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said Hezbollah’s victims have received «justice.»
She described Nasrallah as «a terrorist with American blood on his hands.»
«He has caused the deaths of countless innocent lives in Lebanon, Israel, Syria, and around the world,» she added.
The Democratic candidate insisted that the U.S. would continue to pursue a diplomatic solution.
«President Joe Biden and I do not want to see the conflict in the Middle East escalate into a broader regional war,» Kamala Harris said.
She further stated that both have been working on a diplomatic solution along the Israel-Lebanon border.
«Diplomacy remains the best way forward,» Harris pointed out.
Finally, she reiterated Washington’s «unwavering» support for Israel’s security and its right to defend itself «against Iran and terrorist groups.»
