The second suspect in the murder of Jocelyn Nungaray searched online for ways to leave the country.

He did this after seeing his photo on television as a person of interest in the investigation.

This was revealed by the prosecution during the appearance of 22-year-old Johan José Martínez Rangel.

The trial took place in the 232nd Criminal Court of Harris County.

Authorities found the search on the seized cellphone of Martínez Rangel.

Martínez Rangel conducted the search after the death of Jocelyn Nungaray on June 17.

At Monday’s hearing, 26-year-old Franklyn José Peña Ramos was also presented.

The Harris County judge set a bail of $10 million for Martínez Rangel.

The judge considers Martínez Rangel a high flight risk.

The prosecution revealed that both suspects contacted their boss for help to flee.

The two men worked in construction.

Jocelyn was found without clothing from the waist down and with her hands tied.
