The younger generations may not be not familiar with journalist and lawyer Jacobo Zabludovsky Kravesky.

For nearly three decades, he was at the helm of the 24 Horas news program, which aired Monday through Friday evenings on Televisa.

Many believed Zabludovsky’s words to be absolute truth, and indeed, he is considered the creator of this news format.

He passed away in Mexico City on July 2, 2015, at the age of 87.

NMás shared a video on YouTube where Jacobo Zabludovsky predicted the April 8 eclipse.

On July 11, 1991, alongside Talina Fernández, the journalist broadcast live during a total solar eclipse that was visible in Mexico.

«This we are seeing will not happen again until April 8, 2024, for the residents of the Mexican Republic,» Zabludovsky stated.

It’s important to remember that the eclipse was first seen in Baja California Sur at 11:23 am, then continued its path through more cities.

NASA will conduct various scientific experiments to study the upper atmosphere during the total solar eclipse on April 8.

As previously mentioned, it will be visible in parts of Mexico, the United States and Canada.

From the Wallops Island base in Virginia, NASA will launch three sounding rockets during the eclipse to study how Earth’s upper atmosphere is affected when sunlight momentarily dims over a part of the planet.
