Pastelito says goodbye to ¿Quién es la Máscara?

With a captivating performance, Ivonne Montero brought Pastelito to life in the popular reality show.

The Mexico City native showcased her versatility and talent in every performance.

However, her journey came to an end when the audience favored another participant, JoseRamonstruo, over her.

Despite her departure from the show, Ivonne Montero expressed her satisfaction and joy at having been part of this unique experience.

Ivonne Montero as Pastelito: «A lot of magic»

In her own words, she described the process as «a journey full of magic,» where she had to immerse herself in creating the character.

«Truthfully, it was a really cool process, full of magic; of finding the right words for Pastelito.»

«Finding a way to speak, even though they distort our voices, I added a change to my voice, the steps, how I’m going to dance,» said Ivonne Montero.

Three new identities were revealed, with Pastelito being the second to bid farewell, after the audience chose to save JoseRamonstruo.

Ivonne Montero as Pastelito: Great challenges

During the conversation, the actress also shared the challenges she faced while portraying Pastelito.

She highlighted the difficulty of moving due to the weight of the costume structure, the limitation in mobility, and breathing.

«I couldn’t dance much because the costume was tremendously heavy, and in fact, they changed it for me; it was even heavier.»

Despite these obstacles, Montero mentioned that each difficulty was a learning experience and an opportunity to overcome herself.

Ivonne Montero left an indelible mark on the show by revealing her identity as the talented actress behind Pastelito.

Ivonne was able to compare her experience on ¿Quién es la Máscara? with other reality shows she has participated in, such as La Casa de los Famosos.

Montero pointed out that this program was much more fun and less demanding.

She highlighted the opportunity to thoroughly prepare her character and choreographies, even with the collaboration of her daughter.
