Ivanka Trump, who previously played a key role as an advisor to Donald Trump, has made it clear that she will not be part of the administration if her father returns to the White House.
In a recent interview on the podcast The Skinny Confidential, Ivanka shared details about her decision to stay out of active politics.
And, on this occasion, to focus on her role as a mother and emotional support for her father, according to the Daily Mail.
“What I look forward to the most is being there for him as a daughter. Being able to distract him, watch a movie or a game together, and help him relax,” she explained.

During her time in the White House between 2017 and 2021, Ivanka faced what she described as a «dark and negative» environment.
While she proudly highlighted her work on increasing the child tax credit, she also confessed:

«I hate politics.» She added that, although some enjoy the combative aspect of the political world, that is not her nature.
“I went through years of madness,” she noted about her experience in the Donald Trump administration, marked by internal tensions, leaks, and power struggles.

Additionally, she mentioned that politics required her to sacrifice important moments with her children, something she is not willing to repeat now.
“The main reason I am not returning to serve is that I know the price it entails.
And it’s a price I don’t want my children to pay,” Ivanka Trump affirmed.
Trump’s daughter currently resides in Miami with her husband Jared Kushner and their three children.
Change of Focus and Personal Life
Since leaving Washington, Ivanka Trump has dedicated herself to raising her children, participating in sports activities, and exploring new hobbies such as surfing and jiu-jitsu.
«I feel very good about this decision,» she said about her choice to stay in Florida and prioritize her personal life.
Ivanka also reflected on how her time in the White House helped her expand her perspective and step out of the “bubble” of her life on the Upper East Side of New York.
«It was a period of extraordinary personal growth and learning for me,» she assured.
Donald Trump, Prepared to Return
Despite her decision to stay on the sidelines, Ivanka expressed her support for her father and her enthusiasm for his potential return to the presidency.
She assured that Donald Trump has spent the last few years preparing for a second term, surrounded by a better-organized team, revealed the Daily Mail.
«He has a lot of energy, support, and enthusiasm,» declared the businesswoman.
«I think these four years have allowed him to gauge how he wants to spend the next four years,” she affirmed.
