On Sunday, a drone attack in the city of Binyamina, Israel, left more than 60 people injured, three of them critically, according to Israeli authorities.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, stating it was a retaliation for recent Israeli bombings in Beirut that killed 22 people.

The paramilitary group launched two drones from Lebanon, though the Israeli army intercepted one of them.

This incident has further escalated the ongoing conflict in the region, pitting Israel against Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Gaza, both of which are backed by Iran.

The situation in Israel is becoming increasingly critical, with constant attacks and growing tensions along the borders.

The attack comes at a time when the United States has announced the deployment of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and additional troops to bolster Israel’s defenses.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin authorized the deployment, reaffirming Washington’s commitment to Israel’s security in the face of threats from Iran.

Meanwhile, Israeli bombings continue in Gaza, primarily affecting densely populated areas, according to the AP.

Aside from Hezbollah’s recent attack on Israel, A recent strike on a shelter in Gaza killed a family of eight, heightening international criticism over civilian casualties.

The United Nations has warned that the situation in Gaza is worsening, with hospitals on the brink of collapse and bodies left unburied in the streets due to a lack of medical assistance.

In Lebanon, an Israeli airstrike destroyed an ancient market in Nabatiyeh, resulting in at least one death and several injuries.

Fighting in this area has intensified in recent days, and UN peacekeeping forces have also been affected, with five soldiers injured in recent attacks.
