Horrifying! Little girl dies for the second time after waking up at her funeral

A young mother in Mexico had to suffer the worst pain twice when her three-year-old daughter died for a second time during her funeral. The incident occurred in the state of San Luis Potosí, where the toddler died twice.

The mother is 20-year-old Mary Jane Mendoza, who had a terrible experience when her daughter Camila Roxana Martínez Mendoza was declared dead at the hospital. However, in the middle of her funeral, she regained consciousness only to die again in front of her mother and her relatives.

Little girl dies again at her own funeral

According to El Heraldo de Mexico, little Camila died due to a misdiagnosis by the doctors, who apparently declared her dead while she was still alive. It is worth mentioning that her father, who had gone to the United States, was able to say goodbye to his daughter.

The three-year-old girl was about to enter kindergarten, but this can no longer be. The incident occurred on Tuesday, August 16, when Camila began to feel sick. The child had diarrhea so she was taken to a doctor.

Camila Roxana’s first Death

When she was checked at the clinic, they recommended some medications to improve her health, but apparently they didn’t help. Her family decided to take her to the municipality of Salinas de Hidalgo, which is approximately 45 minutes away from her home.

Her mother noticed something strange

When the mother wanted to see her deceased daughter to say goodbye, she noticed that the little girl made an effort to hug her back. However the doctors didn’t pay attention to what Mary Jane said. So she was asked to leave the room so they could process the death certificate.

The 20-year-old mother wasn’t able to see her daughter again until the funeral when she noticed something strange again. Was it medical malpractice?

It was then that Felicitas Martínez, Mary Jane’s paternal grandmother, approached and saw that the child was still alive. At that moment she said «the baby kind of opened her eyes.» They opened the coffin and found Camila Roxana Martínez Mendoza alive.

Confirming that her daughter was alive, they called a local doctor, who confirmed that the three-year-old girl had vital signs. They immediately took her to the hospital but she died on the way. Twelve hours had passed from the time the doctor declared her dead, until they took her out of the coffin at the funeral.
