Gerard Piqué talks to El Escorpión Dorado

The Mexican YouTuber known as El Escorpión Dorado went viral on social media again.

On this occasion it was when he shared the conversation he had with former soccer player Gerard Piqué while they were driving together through the streets of Spain.

The former Barcelona player joined the list of celebrities who have participated in the YouTuber’s Al Volante interviews.

During the conversation, Piqué talked about his life since he stopped playing football.

Piqué talks about Peso Pluma

The man who has been named one of the “most hated men on the planet” for his well-known breakup with Shakira agreed to talk.

However, one of the highlights of the conversation occurred when Piqué requested that they play music in the car.

And he said he had a preference for the regional Mexican music of Peso Pluma.

The Mexican performer has been enjoying incredible success at home and internationally.

Piqué makes a surprising confession

«What songs do you like?» asked Alex Montiel, better known as El Escorpión Dorado.

To which the founder of the Kings League responded, «I don’t know … now that Peso Pluma has become very fashionable.»

«Give me a style that is popular in Mexico, Peso Pluma with Bizarrap,» was the Spaniard’s response.

They both enjoyed the song as they continued traveling through the streets of Barcelona.

He didn’t want to talk about Shakira

At the end of the song, the comedian couldn’t resist joking with the former soccer player and asked him if he wanted any other Bizarrap songs.

This was a clear allusion to ‘Music Sessions, Vol. 53’, in which the rapper collaborated with Shakira.

«No, leave it like that,» Piqué replied, laughing.

He was then asked what he misses most about being a footballer, to which he responded: «Traveling with the team.»

Some fans were annoyed

This conversation divided internet users, as some said that it was okay not to want mention Shakira.

While others complained that he refused to talk about the Colombian singer.

«He didn’t say anything about Shakira, leave the show! Rather say, why did he do the interview in Barcelona and not in Mexico? Are they afraid? Are they afraid?,» were some comments.
