For example, United Way of Greater Atlanta offers assistance with rent, mortgage, food, shelters, and guidance. Income Qualified Senior Citizen Discount

Georgia Power customers aged 65 or older with a combined family income not exceeding 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines may qualify for a discount for low-income senior citizens.
