Franyerlys Zambrano Briceño’s husband was arrested inside a Las Vegas casino with $100,000 in cash.
According to authorities he is the main suspect in her murder.
The couple was newly married and lived in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The 26-year-old Venezuelan was shot dead inside the home she shared with her husband.

Franyerlys Zambrano Briceño’s body was discovered on December 29, 2023, by the Uniontown police, five days after her coworkers at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort reported her missing.
Although the investigation began on December 24, 2023, police needed to collect enough evidence to get a court order to enter the couple’s house.
«With the help of some forensic evidence, we were able to obtain a search warrant,» said Uniontown Police Lieutenant Thomas Kolencik at a press conference.
As suspected, Briceño was found inside the home. «She had a gunshot wound in a vital part of the body,» added Kolencik.

While thoroughly investigating the house, authorities also found a .357 Magnum revolver.
A suspicious statement, combined with the testimony of neighbors, made police suspect Franyerlys Zambrano Briceño’s husband.
He told neighbors he was going on a trip with his wife, while he told police he didn’t know where she was.
By the time homicide detectives obtained the arrest warrant against him, Guty was no longer in Pennsylvania.
Arthur Guty is charged with his wife’s murder
«He was on his way, we believe, out of the country with a significant amount of cash and was going to avoid, or try to avoid, any responsibility for what happened here,» the Fayette County District Attorney said.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Guty was arrested while having breakfast at the Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino.
According to his arrest warrant, Guty faces charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault in connection with the death of his second wife.
He is expected to appear before a judge in the coming days.

Authorities presume he will remain detained in Nevada until they can transport him back to Pennsylvania.
MundoNow learned that the victim was originally from Ureña, Táchira in Venezuela. She had no children and had been married to Arthur Guty for less than a year.
Her family has set up a GoFundMe account to repatriate her remains to Venezuela so that her mother can give her a proper burial.
Briceño was described as a beautiful and happy person who traveled to the United States to help her mother.
