On Monday, September 18, Francisca decided to share her exciting news with the viewers.

Together with her colleagues, the Despierta América host revealed whether she’s having a boy or a girl.

Despierta América shared a video on its official Instagram account showing all of the  hosts.

They were outside of the Univision studios where the morning show is produced and everyone was wearing white coveralls.

There was obvious tension among Francisca and her colleagues when the news was announced.

After everyone counted down together, they were going to be sprayed with the blue or pink to reveal the baby’s gender.

When the Dominican host shared that she would be a mother for the second time, many of her fans began to place bets.

Even Doña Divina, Francisca’s mother, was sure that a granddaughter was on the way to brighten their lives.

Many of the host’s colleagues insisted that she would be welcoming another boy based on the shape of her baby bump.

However, the moment of truth arrived and the answer was revealed to everyone.

The set was decorated with blue and pink balloons, as well as a pair of large hearts with the letters «Boy» and «Girl.»

Behind them they placed some hoses that would release colored liquid revealing the gender of Francisca’s baby.

The moment the liquid came out, it was revealed that she is expecting …  A BOY!

In addition, other members of the Despierta América team splashed the hosts with blue paint.

The Univisión morning news show posted a photo of the gender reveal on Instagram.

In it Francisca appears holding one of the giant hearts that were part of the decorations.

Wearing a blue spattered white dress and surrounded by foam, she raises the heart with the word «Boy» written on it.

Although many of her friends and fans were convinced she’s having a girl, Gennaro will soon have a little brother.
