People with arthritis can benefit from a balanced diet that includes foods rich in antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and pain-relieving properties. Eating these foods regularly could reduce symptoms that, many times, force patients with this disease to suspend their daily activities.

4. Salmon

One of the main foods that is recommended for arthritis sufferers is salmon and, in general, all fish rich in good fats. Fish are a good source of Omega-3, a fatty acid that has anti-inflammatory properties, thus helping joints that are affected by arthritis.

Some studies in adult patients with rheumatoid arthritis have found that including salmon in two meals a week may reduce mild to moderate discomfort in joints such as the knees, elbows, and hands.
