The Judicial Branch of the State of Mexico has upheld the sentence against Rodolfo “N,” known as «Fofo» Márquez, for attempting to kill a woman by beating her in the parking lot of a shopping center in Naucalpan in February 2024.
The case, which initially shocked the public due to the violence involved, occurred as the victim, an elderly woman, and the influencer were preparing to leave in their vehicles.
At that moment, Fofo reportedly became enraged for no apparent reason and violently attacked the woman.
Security cameras at the shopping center recorded the brutal assault, allowing authorities to launch an investigation and formally bring charges of attempted femicide.

The attack was deemed so severe that after examining the facts, authorities concluded that the influencer acted with the intent to kill the woman.
On Thursday, the Second Appellate Criminal Court of the State of Mexico, based in Tlalnepantla, confirmed the sentence.
In an official statement, the judges declared that Rodolfo “N” was found criminally responsible for the crime of attempted femicide.
The court also adjusted the amount of compensation for material damages, setting it at 36,400 pesos.
Details of the Naucalpan Assault
This amount will be allocated toward the psychological treatment of the victim, whose identity remains confidential.
The tribunal also reaffirmed the preventive prison sentence of 17 years and 6 months for the influencer, citing the seriousness of the incident.
This ruling reinforces the judiciary’s commitment to addressing gender-based violence.
As for compensation related to moral damages, financial losses, and emergent harm, the court stated that these matters will be determined in a later stage during the Penal Execution phase, in accordance with the law.
