In general, child anxiety usually starts at home. Some other factors that can cause anxiety in children are divorce, the fear of facing a particular situation and even fear of animals or insects — even if it doesn’t seem rational.

The physical signs of anxiety in children are concentration problems, fatigue, irritability and anger, insomnia, agitation when waking up, eating too little or too much, muscle tension, stomach discomfort, shortness of breath and headache.
