Erin Jayne Plummer, host of the morning show Studio 10, took her own life in 2022 after battling mental health issues.

Her husband, Alan Plummer, was found dead on Sunday in Freshwater, on Sydney’s northern beaches, in an incident suspected to be self-inflicted.

Alan was 49 years old, and his death was described as «tragic» by a close source.

New South Wales police are investigating the case and have prepared a report for the coroner.

This event comes just two months after Alan sold the four-bedroom family home in Freshwater, owned by the Plummers for more than two decades.

The property, purchased in 2002 for $675,000, had been listed for sale in March of this year.

Alan Plummer was the former director of a company called Shine VIP Tours Australia PTY LTD, which has now ceased operations.

Erin was only 42 when she died, leaving a profound void in her family.

Her friends regretted not being able to do more to alleviate the pain she carried with her.

Erin was a devoted mother who loved her three daughters immensely.

However, she struggled greatly during the Covid-19 pandemic and was not the same before her death.

Erin Jayne Plummer’s father described her daughters as «little versions of her,» a reflection of her unconditional love.

At Erin’s funeral, her eldest daughter shared her grief over the loss of her mother.

«Every day that passes I still can’t believe she’s gone,» said the 15-year-old.

The teenager expressed the sadness of growing up without her mother: «A family of three girls will grow up without our mom, this is the thought I can’t get over.»

«My mom was loved by everyone, she gave everything to take us to 40 activities each week,» she said tearfully about Erin Jayne Plummer.

The eldest daughter concluded the emotional tribute: «Mom, I hope heaven treats you better than we did.»

The youngest daughter also shared her love for Erin Jayne Plummer, saying, «My mom was the best person in the world. I will always love you, mom.»

Following her death, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to help the Plummer family with household expenses, raising nearly $28,000.

Neighbors also came together, cooking and bringing food to the family during this difficult time.

Throughout her career, Erin Jayne Plummer hosted shows like Studio 10, TVSN, Mornings with Kerri-Anne, and The Morning Show.

She was known as «The Danoz Girl» and was also a host of Aerobics Oz Style for six years.

This aerobics program, which aired from 1982 until 2005, reached a global audience of 40 million people at its peak.

In addition to her television career, Erin was a prominent synchronized swimmer who represented Australia in three world championships, winning 11 national titles.

Erin Jayne Plummer was discovered on Manly Beach in Sydney when she was recruited for a tourism campaign that aired on NBC in the USA.

However, it was her role as a TV presenter that made her more well-known, promoting products like massage chairs and exercise programs.

Erin also lent her voice to numerous television voice-overs, demonstrating her versatility in the industry.
