Who is El Enano Machuca?

The name El Enano Machuca might not be familiar to everyone, but he’s one of the most beloved comedians in the Dominican Republic.

On his social media profiles, he simply goes by ‘actor’ and describes himself as ‘a professional in all my areas of expertise.’

On his Facebook page, Jesús Rodríguez (his real name) has over 25 thousand followers and more than 14 thousand likes.

It was on his official Instagram account where he expressed his feelings following the unexpected death of his son.

They took him in because of chest pain

According to information from El Nuevo Diario, El Enano Machuca’s son was taken to the hospital due to chest pain.

At 22 years old, Jeison Rodríguez Mejía had the misfortune of being in a medical institution where emergencies are not attended to until the end of a shift.

His parents, comedian Jesús Rodríguez and Susana Mejía, mentioned that the young man got out of the car on his own.

Both claim that they were treated with indifference, asked to wait, and fill out some medical forms.

«Part of my life has gone away»

Hours after this sad news, El Enano Machuca shared an emotional farewell message on his official Instagram account.

«A part of my life has left me, my eldest son, so good, my trusted friend, my heart, how can I not thank you, my life?» he expressed.

Before saying goodbye, the comedian wanted to thank Jeison for ‘so much love’: «See you in heaven.»
