According to the New York Police, a man died and two others were injured in a stabbing in Manhattan’s East Village.

This tragic incident occurred on the afternoon of Sunday, June 23. A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

New York Police officials reported receiving 911 calls alerting them to multiple stabbings.

A 38-year-old man was stabbed in the neck, a 51-year-old woman in the leg, and a 32-year-old man in the back.

The three stabbing victims from the East Village were transported to Bellevue Hospital for medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the 51-year-old woman is in critical condition, and the 32-year-old man is in stable condition.

The New York Police stated that officers recovered a «sharp instrument,» but are still investigating what provoked the triple stabbing in the East Village.

It is worth noting that the police did not immediately reveal the name of the man who lost his life in this triple stabbing in the East Village.

At the time, they had no details on the relationship between the suspect and the three victims.

District 9, which includes the East Village, had no records of other homicides so far this year.
