Former U.S. President and Republican candidate Donald Trump made a bold declaration on Friday, revealing what will happen if he returns to the presidency.
His plan includes carrying out «the largest deportation in the country’s history,» beginning in Springfield, Ohio, with deportations to Venezuela.
«This is what I can say: we will conduct mass deportations from Springfield. We are going to remove those people,» Trump stated.
«We are going to send them back to Venezuela,» he added during a press conference at his golf club in Palos Verdes, California.

In his view, «illegal Haitians» are destroying the way of life for residents in that area.
For days, Trump has been spreading the false claim that Haitians in Springfield are eating citizens’ cats and dogs.

These accusations have led to the Haitian community being targeted, with bomb threats forcing schools and other public facilities to close over the past two days.

Trump used much of his press conference to criticize his opponent in the November 5th election, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.
He accused her—without evidence—of enabling the «largest wave of human trafficking in history» through her border policies with Mexico.
Donald Trump also blamed Harris for the deterioration of law and order in California due to her policies as the state’s attorney general (2011-2017) and later as senator (2017-2021).
The two candidates faced off in their first electoral debate on Tuesday.

The former president, who appeared defensive and irritable during the debate, reiterated on Friday that he is not interested in participating in another debate with Harris.
