The President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, will appoint Tom Homan as his new «border czar».
Trump stated on his social network «Truth» that Homan will be key in implementing his border control policy.
Tom Homan, former ICE director, previously worked with Trump during his first term, from 2017 to 2021.
In the message, Trump highlighted Homan’s experience in managing border security and his commitment to this cause.

«Homan will be in charge of all deportations of illegal immigrants,» emphasized Trump, who will assume the presidency on January 20.
Homan’s role will cover the «southern border, northern border, maritime and aviation security,» detailed the president-elect.
Last October, Homan criticized the lack of undocumented immigrant raids under the administration of Joe Biden.
With decades of experience in immigration, Homan has held positions as a police officer, Border Patrol agent, and with the former Immigration and Naturalization Service.
In addition to Tom Homan, figures like Susie Wiles and Elon Musk could join Trump’s cabinet.
Wiles, who has worked on Republican campaigns, will be the Chief of Staff at the White House.
