Although the original idea came from expert James Fishback, who proposed the concept of the DOGE Dividend, Elon Musk has taken on the role of pushing it to final approval.

The document published by Fishback on X details that the DOGE stimulus check of $5000 would equal 20 percent of the savings projected by DOGE for 2026, estimated at $2 billion.

Part of these savings would also be used to reduce the national debt, as mentioned by Trump during last month’s FII Priority Summit.

There has been initial enthusiasm and a majority support shown in a recent survey.

46 percent of Americans were in favor of the $5000 DOGE stimulus check, but the plan still requires Congressional approval for implementation.

What Does the DOGE Check Include?

The proposal includes specific requirements, such as being a federal taxpayer for the current year, as confirmed by Fishback in an interview with FOX5 Washington.

The timeline for the distribution of these funds would be by the summer of 2026, coinciding with the end of Trump’s term.

The main purpose of the check would be to help American households cover essential expenses and manage debts accumulated over these years.
