The northern region of Mexico, particularly Ciudad Juárez, faces a logistical and humanitarian challenge.
The lack of concrete options increases tension at border crossings.
Organizations like Good Samaritan are now grappling with significant challenges in providing aid.
These partnerships are essential for migrants seeking shelter or assistance amid uncertainty.
However, the magnitude of the problem exceeds the immediate response capabilities.
Ciudad Juárez has become the epicenter of this crisis.
The place reflects the suffering of those seeking a better future in the United States.
Meanwhile, the absence of clear immigration alternatives aggravates the situation, generating more chaos and desperation.
Pastor Juan Fierro García, director of the El Buen Samaritano shelter, explained to EFE the reactions and concerns that this measure has raised.
“(For) some people who were with us, who had already been waiting for a while with the CBP One application.
It was somewhat frustrating to find out that it was already canceled and then discouragement came, sadness came, maybe anger, some people were shocked by this information,” he commented.

The shelter, with capacity for 180 people, currently serves 21 migrants; However, Fierro anticipates an increase in the arrival of people rejected or deported.
“We know that the federal government and the other governments already have a tent strategy to receive their compatriots.
«And also in some way trucks for those who want to return to their place of origin or to some other part of Mexico, then give them that transfer,» said Fierro.
