Deneil Timberlake found dead in the Bronx

This is one of those pieces of news that is hard to share because the ending could have been very different.

Despite being rescued from a squalid home, Deneil Timberlake died.

The little boy, barely five years old, was found unconscious and with foam in his mouth.

When police arrived at the Bronx apartment after responding to a call, the boy was unresponsive.

The cause of Deneil Timberlake‘s death is still unknown

According to El Diario, paramedics rushed Deneil Timberlake to Saint Barnabas Hospital.

Despite all efforts, nothing could be done to save the child’s life, who showed no signs of trauma.

The cause of death is still unknown, but a forensic examination is yet to be done.

The boy’s parents are cooperating with authorities in the investigation, which is ongoing.

According to information from PIX11 News, in addition to Deneil Timberlake, there were other children in this house.

It is worth noting that the family has a history with the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS).

«We were awakened by screams. It was like a scream of pain. It was a man’s voice,» a neighbor told the Daily News.

She also revealed that the man screamed and started crying. He then apparently called 911.

«Then I heard a little girl crying,» said the neighbour of this family who lived in unsanitary conditions.

The case of little Deneil Timberlake is reminiscent of others that occurred months ago.

Just in May, a woman was charged with murder to her 6-year-old daughter, also in the Bronx.

It was learned that she frequently mistreated her and she lost custody of her other children.
