Voice actor Dave Mallow, renowned for his work on Power Rangers, died at the age of 76 after a health battle that reportedly lasted several years.
Mallow was best known for lending his voice to Baboo in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
His death occurred on Tuesday while receiving palliative care at a hospice.
The iconic voice actor resided at the MonteCedro Senior Living community in Altadena, California, at the time of his passing.

According to TMZ, a former coworker revealed that Mallow had faced health issues in recent years.
In addition to playing Baboo, Mallow voiced legendary monsters from the series such as Pudgy Pig, Lizzinator, Terror Blossom, and Beamcaster.
The actor worked on 138 episodes of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers between 1993 and 1999.
He also participated in other installments of the franchise, such as Power Rangers in Space, Power Rangers Wild Force, and Power Rangers Zeo.
His passing comes years after the tragic death of his Mighty Morphin Power Rangers co-star, Jason David Frank.
Frank died by suicide in November 2022 at the age of 49.

The actor portrayed Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger, in the series.
Other actors from the franchise have also died in recent years.
Robert Axelrod, who voiced Lord Zedd, passed away in 2019 at age 70 due to complications from back surgery.
Thuy Trang, who played the original Yellow Ranger, died in a car accident in 2001 at age 27.

Dave Mallow’s father worked in radio and television and was a 30-year veteran on-air at WGN in Chicago.
After graduating from Maine South High School, Mallow earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater Arts at Drake University in 1970.
Following a successful 12-year career as a radio announcer in the Midwest of the United States and New York City, he moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to focus on voice acting.
His career included work in commercials, film dubbing, looping, narration, audiobooks, radio dramas, and voice characterizations in numerous video games, toys, and cartoons.
Mallow was the voice for daily commercials and various monsters for Saban Productions, including Baboo in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Angemon, Gekkomon, and Uppamon in Digimon: Digital Monsters.
He is remembered for portraying Amarao in FLCL by Digital Manga, Herzog in the alternate reality game I Love Bees, and Akuma in the Street Fighter franchise, among many other characters.
On March 11, 2025, voice actress Dorothy Elias-Fahn reported that Mallow had passed away at his residence in the MonteCedro Senior Living retirement community.
