Brent Hospelhorn was caught on video assaulting Guadalupe Solano
«Get out of my building right now, you #»$¡!» Contractor Brent Hospelhorn is heard shouting at Guadalupe Solano
This confrontation supposedly stemmed from an incident where a cabinet was stained in a building located at 5200 E Deer Valley Drive, in Phoenix, Arizona.
The man’s intense anger is palpable from the beginning of the video.
Initially, he shouts at her and strikes a piece of furniture. Ultimately, he slaps her hand to make her stop recording.
Brent Hospelhorn is convicted of misdemeanor assault
Hospelhorn was sentenced to five days in jail, one year of probation, and 20 hours of community service for misdemeanor assault.
Initially, the Phoenix Police Department officers who responded to the incident faced criticism.
In response to these concerns, the Phoenix Police issued a statement confirming that they had appropriately handled the complaint and taken necessary action based on the evidence.
«Our officer responded to the call, filed a report and arrested the suspect for assault.»
Hospelhorn was out of control
«The suspect was cited instead of detained, and the worker was advised to press charges,» the police stated.
Solano waited four months for a final verdict and at last justice has been served.
Although many believe the jail time was insufficient, this sets a precedent for others who suffer from workplace harassment.
