Additionally, 47% of Mexicans believe that relations with the U.S. are «bad or very bad,» compared to 31% who rate them as «good or very good.»

Regarding the mass deportations driven by Trump, 79% of those surveyed expressed «high or moderate» concern, while 21% indicated they are «little or not at all» worried.
This is significant since Mexican migrants make up nearly half of the 11 million undocumented individuals in the U.S., and their remittances account for 4% of the Mexican economy.
Security was also a key point in the survey. In January, 78% of Mexicans perceive the situation as «bad or very bad,» up from 68% in December.
In this context, 44% of respondents believe Sheinbaum has handled the problem «well,» while 45% rate her performance as «poor.»
However, when it comes to organized crime, 69% of those surveyed think the president is addressing it «poorly,» while only 25% believe otherwise.
The study also focused on Sinaloa, a state experiencing a wave of violence since September 2024 due to clashes between factions of the Sinaloa Cartel, Los Mayos, and Los Chapitos, showcasing insecurity in Mexico.
In the region, 88% of respondents rated security as «bad or very bad,» according to EFE.
The telephone survey was conducted between January 8-14 and 23-27, involving 900 adults nationwide, with a margin of error of 3.3%.
