Clarisa has left an indelible mark on television with her starring role in the successful soap opera Tierra de Esperanza, which is now airing in the United States.

The Monterrey native revealed how playing Regina Rangel has marked a before and after in her career.

Clarisa González is happy for the opportunity

From the beginning of our talk, Clarisa shared her mixed emotions as the popular Mexican telenovela Tierra de Esperanza nears the end of its run.

The actress confessed to feeling sad about the show coming to an end in her country.

But she also said her heart is full of gratitude for the opportunity and the overwhelming support she has received.

«My heart is swollen with gratitude because what this beautiful character has given me,» said Clarisa González.

A twist in her performance

One of the most fascinating aspects of Clarisa González’s story is how she landed the role of Regina Rangel.

When she was called for casting, she was initially considered for another character on the show.

Although life had a surprise in store for her, and Clarisa eventually became Regina.

«I got to the call and the character I was going for was for Camila, even my casting was with Luis Roberto Guzmán,» said the actress.

A major challenge

One of the most notable challenges in playing Clarisa was portraying a character with a hearing impairment.

To play Regina, the actress had to learn sign language, a task she tackled with commitment and dedication.

She was already familiar with sign language because she has a close friend who is hearing impaired.

«I already had this awareness, because my friend is hearing impaired, she uses hearing aids,» said Clarisa.

Clarisa González said that she had never had the opportunity to work with a cast like this.

«I never got to work with such a cast of good people, all generous and all great actors.»

«Suddenly I ran into the actress or actor that you can’t even see because it will bother you, but not here, everything was super good,» said Clarisa
