It seemed that the unveiling of Jenni Rivera’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame had brought peace to the Rivera family… but that was not the case.

In an interview with various media outlets, Chiquis Rivera confessed that the lawsuit against her grandfather and uncles is still ongoing.

But first, the singer shared her happiness about Pedro Rivera’s upcoming marriage to his girlfriend Nataly Rodríguez.

«I’m glad, I see him very happy. On TikTok, he’s giving it his all, dancing and everything,» expressed the daughter of La Diva de la Banda.

Chiquis Rivera: «We Haven’t Been Able to Talk»

Before discussing the lawsuit against her uncles and grandfather, Chiquis Rivera revealed the current state of their relationship.

«Right now, we haven’t been able to talk; a lot has happened, but it was very important to be there together,» she said, referring to the ceremony honoring her mother.

The singer mentioned that the day was very important for Jenni Rivera and a «beautiful achievement.»

Throughout the event, Chiquis was accompanied by her husband, photographer Emilio Sánchez.

When asked if the lawsuit against her uncles, Juan and Rosie, and her grandfather, Pedro, was still ongoing, Chiquis Rivera confirmed it.

«It’s still standing and has to… I just want the truth, I just want my siblings to receive what belongs to them,» she added.

The eldest daughter of La Diva de la Banda revealed that the process is very difficult, with many details involved.

«The truth is, I can’t talk much about it because it belongs to my sister (Jacqie),» she confessed.

To conclude the topic of the lawsuit, Chiquis Rivera made it clear that she will always support her four siblings.

Regarding the vandalism of her mother’s star, she stated that she doesn’t know who was responsible.

«I feel it was a homeless person; we saw some videos where someone was upset because they were leaving candles and thought it was witchcraft.»
