Born in Trenton, New York, USA, Casey Chaos’ real name was Karim Chmielnski.

He formed his first band, Casey & The Skatepunx, after discovering the group Black Flag.

Later, he transitioned to Disorderly Conduct, gaining a spot in Florida’s punk scene, where he resided.

After moving to Los Angeles, California, in 1990, he founded the band Amen, achieving great success with them.

In an Instagram post by Cleopatra Records, its director, Brian Perera, remembered Casey Chaos fondly:

«I had the privilege of working with him during his unforgettable live performance with Christian Death at the American Legion Hall in 1993.»

Brian also recalled witnessing Nicolas Cage sitting front and center during the show, «completely captivated.»
